Invitation Design
When I got engaged, the part of the wedding planning process that excited me the most was Wedding Stationery. We had an intimate wedding, so I decided to send out an elaborate announcement to all of our friends and family.
The theme of this project was the Lotus flower - the national flower of both Vietnam and India, where my husband and I are from. For the back of the card, I painted a custom watercolor in beautiful bright colors to evoke the miniature paintings of India. Interwoven in the painting is the Indian cobra and the Vietnamese dragon with lotuses tying it all together.
