Highlands Festival 2015
Creative Direction + Graphic Design
I developed the marketing campaign assets and designed the print and digital ads and social media assets for Highlands Festival at Waterloo 2015. This included making a toolkit of colors, illustrations, fonts and other assets which were used in magazine ads, newspapers, billboards and the web. I worked closely with the Highlands Festival Coordinator, Jennifer Sneed, and Policy Director, Elliot Ruga, to combine their core element of water with other natural resources of the NJ Highlands Region to create fun and festive images.
The logo was reconfigured in the shape of a water droplet to highlight the festival's purpose, which is the preservation of water.
The Highlands Festival at Waterloo celebrates the New Jersey Highlands, a region that supplies much of the fresh, clean drinking water for New Jersey. It also raises funds for the NJ Highlands Coalition’s Small Grants Program, which helps small nonprofits do their important grassroots work in many communities.
